
The
Open Space worked beautifully, and it produced results on different
levels. On a meta level, it showed us that we are able to self organize
and that we can trust the passion and the responsibility of our
members. This is a turning point in the history of our network (Change Facilitation Associates Network).
Besides, we worked on our burning issues and started many new initiatives, for example:
- four potential models of organization for the Change Facilitation Associates Network, which are now taken further,
- design of three new and innovative training courses,
- one or two book concepts,
- different collaboration projects,
- a matrix for pro bono activities of our network members,
- two new companies to be created,
- improvement of our internal communication tools
- our next Global Gathering 2008, to be conducted either in Lapland (Finland) or Turkey,
- etc.
It took us a year and a half to get to this degree of self-organization, but now we are there.
